Meet the Team
Danielle Simpson is a proud mother of 5. She has 4 daughters aged 20, 17 and twins at 12 and 1 son who is nearly 2. Even with all those years experience in being a mum she will still say she is learning everyday as a parent, “you continue to grow and learn with each passing day” She has many years experience with children and young people from working in a nursery and most recently at a family assessment centre, safe guarding babies and children. She has experience in working in mental health with adolescents and as an activity coordinator. She has qualifications in children and young people workforce level 2 and 3 and in health and social care, mental health and fully qualified paediatric first aid. She has a real passion for creating fun and enjoyable experiences for babies and children. She fully believes that children develop and grow through fun interaction and child led play, allowing them to explore at their own pace in fun environments. This is her driving force that come up with the idea of Amore sensory centre. Amore sensory has been her biggest challenge yet, creating a company from scratch and through the hard work and dedication of both her and Emilla they both have the passion and commitment to bring it to life. Danielle’s quote “making memories to last a lifetime” come along to Amore to create some too.

Isaac, 10 weeks old. Loves sensory play and being able to explore different areas. Sensory play can be an important part of a baby's development from newborn and older. Even though Isaac is only a few weeks old he loves lights, colours and sounds, so things like the confetti balloons and the water beads ticked those boxes and gave him hours of fun and enjoyment! We loved the messy play session, even though Isaac could only do little bits it still allowed him to join in and explore the world around him! I cannot wait to be able to explore other areas of sensory play with him has he grows!Maggy Sensory Play
Elias (9months) had a fantastic day during messy play, exploring using all of his senses. I think it’s excellent that all products used were edible ensuring my little boy was safe to put things into his mouth without a worry, his favourite being the mango purée and celery shaped palm tree which looked fab! Danielle and Emilia are friendly, polite and professional and I know that we will defiantly be returning to watch his face light up again throughout. An excited parent.Tegan smith
Ethan (1 1/2 year old) absolutely loves messy play.. it’s an amazing way to use his senses.. I loved how the sessions are themed and so creative.. we can’t wait to join in, in future sessions.Natalie Rowe Messy Play
Toby (1 year old) had such a fun time with all the messy play activities. There was so much on offer and it was really nice to see which ones were his favourite; the sandy beach scene and colourful water beads were a definite winner for my little one. Watching them really get stuck into proper sensory play with no distractions, tv etc is so great, and so good for their development! Making it just as rewarding for us parents too. Plus the cuteness overload of a messy contented baby! Can’t be beaten, and you can’t help but take a million pictures of them while they soak it all in.Zoey Messy Play
Nova absoluetly loves exploring the different textures and tastes i love how she can just be free and adventurous.Sarah
